Former Oilers winger Geoff Sanderson is sitting at home in limbo, waiting for a team to call, reports the Edmonton Journal.
Sanderson, 36, still wants to play, but he hasn't been offered a contract yet.
The Journal notes Sanderson is in a similar situation to that of Jeff O'Neill and Jeff Friesen of last season.
O'Neill has been invited to the Carolina Hurricanes camp on a tryout for this September.

"I'm knocking on doors, but these are the dog days (NHL GMs are usually on holidays right now)," Sanderson's agent, Steve Bartlett, told the Journal.
