Oilers trade Torres to Columbus, Pitkanen to Carolina

The Edmonton Oilers have traded right wing Raffi Torres to the Columbus Blue Jackets for center Gilbert Brule.
The Oilers then shipped restricted free agent defenseman Joni Pitkanen to the Carolina Hurricanes for forward Erik Cole.
The Hurricanes have been trying to acquire Pitkanen for more than a season and were finally able to obtain him today.
