"I don't know if Zetterberg is even in the picture or not, but the rest of the guys are feeling good," Red Wings head coach Mike Babcock told Sportsnet on Thursday.
Wings GM Ken Holland told reporters last Friday April 4 that Zetterberg could be skating with the team within the week -- he has yet to take to the ice.
The team has battled injuries to key players throughout the season, including centre Pavel Datsyuk.
Zetterberg has 16 goals and 32 assists in 45 games this season. The Red Wings are set to take on either Pittsburgh or Boston, pending their wildcard standing.
The team will also be without defenseman Jonathan Ericsson for the start of the playoffs due to an upper-body injury.
