After recording 19 goals and 35 assists for 54 points in 73 games, Jagr proved to be a valuable offensive member who is expected to garner lots of interest on the free-agent market.
The Wings have openly admitted to be looking to upgrade their top-six group and while Jagr might not be their top choice, he could become an interesting alternative if Zach Parise of the New Jersey Devils is snatched off the market.
The team could also count of the veteran forward to improve the power-play and boost the offense, which lacked during the first round series against the Nashville Predators.
Jagr may not be willing to settle on a contract less than what he earned this past season, but the fact that he has the same agent as Wings forward Jiri Hudler could be advantageous.
While he might re-sign with the Flyers, Jagr could also be intrigued to play alongside Pavel Datsyuk and bring leadership to the Wings' locker room.
