Red Wings re-sign Lilja

The Detroit Red Wings have re-signed unrestricted free agent defenseman Andreas Lilja to a two-year contract.

Lilja registered two goals and 10 assists in 79 games with the Wings last season.

In 398 career NHL games, Lilja has accumulated 12 goals and 47 assists for 59 points, along with 431 penalty minutes.

He was originally drafted by Los Angeles, 54th overall, in 2000.
