The Dallas Stars are expected to make a move involving their goaltenders this off-season, as GM Jim Nill is expected to bring in a new No.1 goalie.
It's believed the Stars will look to move netminder Kari Lehtonen this summer, and failing that, the team could buy out his contract.
Lehtonen has two-years left on his contract, but owns a no-trade clause and will have a say in where he ends up, if traded.
The Stars could go after Detroit Red Wings goalie Jimmy Howard, whom the Wings are expected to move this summer.
Howards owns a limited no-trade clause where he can list up to 10 teams he won't accept a deal to, but could be open to a move to Dallas.
He has three-years left on his contract at a salary cap hit of $5.291 million.
Nill could also knock on Pittsburgh's door next month and see if the Penguins are willing to move Marc-Andre Fleury due to the emergence of young netminder Matt Murray.
Fleury also has three-years remaining on his deal, though his salary cap hit is $5 million. He owns a limited no-movement clause where he can list up to 12 teams he won't accept a trade to.
