According to the Dallas Morning News, the Stars have already spoken with former Buffalo Sabres bench boss Lindy Ruff.
Citing an unnamed source, the paper reports the Stars recently spoke with Ruff and are likely to have another discussion in the near future.
Former Vancouver Canucks head coach Alain Vigneault and Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Guy Boucher are also expected to have a chat with Nill in the coming days.
Nill is currently in Toronto this week for the NHL Draft Combine, which ends on Sunday.
