Morrow available for trade?

Stars captain Brenden Morrow might be up for grabs if Dallas GM Joe Nieuwendyk can find a suitable package in exchange for his services.

Morrow, who owns a no-trade clause, would have to sign off on any deal the Stars try to make.

According to TSN's Bob McKenzie, who first reported on the prospect of Morrow's availability, the Stars aren't going to aggressively shop Morrow.

Morrow has one-year left on his contract beyond this season at a cap hit of $4.1 million.

While one source in Dallas told TSN they are "probably not" going to move Morrow before the Feb. 27 trade deadline, but a move remains a possibility.
