Avalanche acquires Boedker from Coyotes

The Colorado Avalanche right wing Mikkel Boedker from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for left wing Alex Tanguay, center Conner Bleackley and defenseman Kyle Wood.

Boedker, 26, registered 13 goals and 26 assists for 39 points in 62 games with the Coyotes this season.

In 445 career NHL regular-season games, all with the Coyotes, and has accumulated 80 goals and 133 assists for 213 points.

He was originally drafted eighth-overall by the Coyotes in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
