Landeskog attracting interest in Norway
TheFourthPeriod.com

Colorado Avalanche captain Gabriel Landeskog has been approached by a few clubs in the Norwegian hockey league, GET-Ligaen.

It's not yet confirmed which teams have reached out to Landeskog, but Valerenga in Olso is believed to be one of them.

While teams may have interest in him, it's believed Landeskog is not committing to any clubs just yet. Landeskog was in Toronto today for a brand he is a spokesman for, and is heading back to Denver on Tuesday.

Landeskog, 19, become the youngest captain in NHL history when he was given the 'C' on Sept. 4.

The native of Stockholm, Sweden, registered 22 goals and 30 assists for 52 points, along with a plus-20 rating, in 82 games with the Avs last season.

His excellent performance resulted in being named the NHL's Rookie of the Year.
