Bowman continues to work the lines
TheFourthPeriod.com

Chicago Blackhawks GM Stan Bowman remains active on the trade front, from an exploratory sense, as he is on the lookout for a veteran forward.

Bowman has been working the trade deadline and exploring the market since the start of the season, hoping to add a top-nine forward to his roster.

The Ottawa Sun reported on Sunday that Bowman "has been busy working the phones," though it's unclear if a trade is imminent.

As the Sun noted, there aren't many available veteran forwards at this point in the season, but that will change closer to the March 1 trade deadline.

The Blackhawks have some depth pieces they have been willing to dangle and could swap one out for another player later in the season.
