Versteeg not worried about trade

Blackhawks forward Kris Versteeg has been the subject of many trade rumors this season, but he doesn't seem overly concerned, reports the Chicago Sun-Times.

Versteeg, along with Patrick Sharp and Cam Barker, have been linked to numerous trade reports because of their salaries and the Blackhawks' proximity to the salary cap.

The latest rumor has Versteeg going to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a deal for defenseman Andrej Meszaros.

"You never know what's going to happen," a cool Versteeg told the Sun-Times.

According to the paper, the Hawks are interested in bolstering their blueline and may also be interested in Los Angeles' Sean O'Donnell and Anaheim's Scott Niedermayer.
