Blackhawks sign Huet

  TFP has learned that the Chicago Blackhawks have signed unrestricted free agent goalie Cristobal Huet to a four-year contract worth over $5 million per season.

Huet, 32, split last season between the Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens, and posted a combined record of 32-14-6 with a 2.32 goals-against-average.

He was traded to Washington on Feb. 26, 2008 in exchange for a 2009 second-round draft pick.
