Blackhawks sign Seabrook to extension

TFP has learned that the Chicago Blackhawks have signed defenseman Brent Seabrook to a three-year, $10.5 million contract extension.
Seabrook, 22, has notched seven goals and 12 assists in 57 games with the Hawks this season.
The native of Richmond, B.C., has played in 207 career NHL games and has accumulated 16 goals and 59 assists for 75 points.
Seabrook was originally drafted 14th overall by Chicago in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
