In 44 games with the Flames this season, Cammalleri registered 14 goals and eight assists for 22 points.
Several teams have expressed an interest in Cammalleri, including the Anaheim Ducks, New Jersey Devils, Ottawa Senators, Los Angeles Kings, San Jose Sharks, Columbus Blue Jackets and Boston Bruins.
According to two separate league sources, TFP has learned that the Flames are mulling over various offers for Cammalleri and could pull the trigger on a deal later tonight, if the right pieces fall into place.
Some of the teams eyeing Cammalleri are also in the mix for New York Islanders left wing Thomas Vanek and Buffalo Sabres left wing Matt Moulson and might be waiting to see what happens with them before acting on Cammalleri.
The Flames are also considering their options on forward Lee Stempniak, who is also set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer.
