The Columbus Blue Jackets have acquired goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for 2012 second-round pick (previously acquired from Phoenix), a 2012 fourth-round pick (previously acquired from Vancouver) and a 2013 fourth-round pick (previously acquired from Phoenix).
Bobrovsky posted a 14-10-2 record with the Flyers last season, registering a 3.02 goals-against-average and a .899 save percentage in 29 games.
Bobrovsky, 23, has appeared in 83 career NHL games with the Flyers, compiling a 42-23-10 record with a 2.73 goals-against average and .909 save percentage.
A native of Novokuznetsk, Russia, Bobrovsky represented Russia in the 2008 World Junior Championships, where he posted a 4-2 record with a 2.46 GAA and .919 SV% in seven games to help the club win the bronze medal.
