"We're playing really well right now, and this group has a lot of confidence," Blue Jackets goalie Steve Mason told the paper. "We're really starting to click at the right time. Nobody wants to leave this team."
Mason, along with defensemen Rostislav Klesla and Jan Hejda, and forwards Kristian Huselius, Ethan Moreau and Jakub Voracek had been rumored to be on the block for several weeks.
While it's still possible for the Blue Jackets to deal a significant roster player, it might only occur if another top-tier player is coming in return.
The Blue Jackets had been speaking with the Pittsburgh Penguins about a deal involving Voracek and defenseman Alex Goligoski, who was dealt to Dallas on Monday.
