Blue Jackets mulling over offers
TheFourthPeriod.com

Blue Jackets GM Scott Howson and his staff are assessing a few trade offers for some of their players, including veteran forward Raffi Torres.

According to the Columbus Dispatch, the Boston Bruins, Los Angeles Kings and Phoenix Coyotes are interested in acquiring Torres, who is in the final year of his current contract.

The Blue Jackets are believed to be asking for a second-round draft pick for Torres, and the Bruins, for example, have three available in this summer's NHL Entry Draft.

The Blue Jackets may also be closing in on deals for defenseman Milan Jurcina and left wing Fredrik Modin, who has a no-trade clause and would have to approve any deal the team tries to complete.
