Peca inks new deal with Columbus

The Columbus Blue Jackets have agreed to terms with unrestricted free agent center Michael Peca, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

Peca, 34, registered eight goals and 26 assists for 34 points in 65 games with the Blue Jackets last season.

Terms of the deal are not yet known and it could be announced on Tuesday.

In 793 career NHL games, Peca has accumulated 172 goals and 271 assists for 443 points, along with 740 penalty minutes.
