The Trois-Rivieres, Que., native has totaled 82 goals, 149 assists (231 points) and 209 penalty minutes in 477 career NHL games with Edmonton, the New York Islanders, Anaheim, Minnesota, Montreal and Tampa Bay.
Hall, 32, has registered four assists and 23 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Hurricanes this season.
The native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was originally drafted by the Nashville Predators in the second-round (52nd overall) of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
