Hurricanes shopping Kaberle? TheFourthPeriod.com
With a surplus of defenseman, the Carolina Hurricanes are believed to be trying to trade one of Frantisek Kaberle and Niclas Wallin, reports the Raleigh News & Observer.
The Hurricanes are looking to free up salary cap space and the paper claims Kaberle has fallen out of favour in Carolina and is expendable, while Wallin would have to waive his no-trade clause.
According to several published reports, the New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks are looking for an upgrade on the blueline.
