Sabres re-sign forward Adam

The Buffalo Sabres today announced the team has re-signed restricted free agent forward Luke Adam to a one-year, two-way contract.

Adam, 24, has played in parts of four seasons with the Sabres since being drafted by Buffalo in the second round (44th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.

In 2013-14, Adam led the Sabres' AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans, in goals (29) and ranked second on the team in overall points (49) in 59 games played.

In 87 NHL games with the Sabres, Adam has recorded 15 goals and 11 assists for 26 points.
