Myers injured in Austria
TheFourthPeriod.com

Reports out of Austria have revealed that Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers injured his ankle while playing Friday night for Klagenfurter AC.

Myers, 22, was reportedly heading for an MRI on his ankle, but results were encouraging as the young blueliner has only stretched ligaments and could be back by Friday.

In 16 games in Austria, Myers has posted two goals and seven assists for nine points after collecting eight goals and 15 assists for 23 points in 55 games with the Sabres last season.
