Bruins continuing talks with Avs over Landeskog

The Boston Bruins are still believed to be having an ongoing dialogue with the Colorado Avalanche about left wing Gabriel Landeskog.

The Bruins and Avs have held discussions this season over Landeskog, who has four years left on his contract beyond this season.

The 24-year-old comes with a $5.572 million annual salary cap hit and TFP has reported recently that several Eastern Conference teams have expressed significant interest, along with the Los Angeles Kings.

It's unclear what type of return the Avalanche is asking for, but Adrian Dater of The Bleacher Report added today, via Twitter, that the Bruins may be willing to make top prospect Brandon Carlo, presumably in a deal for Landeskog.

Carlo was believed to be unavailable, as many had reported earlier this month.

The Bruins' Director of Player Personnel John Ferguson was scheduled to attend tonight's Avalanche game against Chicago.
