The Bruins have been scouring the market for weeks, and with the trade deadline just a month away, trade talks should pick up.
Several scouts took in Saturday night's win over the Los Angeles Kings in Boston, including two from the Buffalo Sabres, two from the Calgary Flames and two from the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Nashville Predators and Carolina Hurricanes also had non-regular scouts in attendance.
The Herald suggests the Bruins could be interested in Sabres winger Drew Stafford, while the club has also been linked to his teammate, Chris Stewart.
According to the paper, Arizona Coyotes forwards Antoine Vermette and Martin Erat could also be good fits in Boston.
