TFP Editor-in-Chief David Pagnotta has reported that the Boston Bruins have signed center Tyler Seguin to a six-year, $34.5 million contract extension.

As revealed on his Twitter page, Pagnotta indicates that Seguin will earn $4.5 million in 2013-14, $5.5 million in 2014-15, $6 million in the third, fourth and fifth year of his deal, and $6.5 million in the final year of his new deal.

Seguin, 20, registered 29 goals and 38 assists for 67 points with the Bruins last season, where he was selected to play in the 2012 NHL All-Star Game.

The native of Brampton, Ontario was drafted second overall by Boston in the first round of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
