Bruins aren't shopping Lucic

Despite several reports suggesting otherwise, a source close to the Bruins confirmed that Boston is not shopping rugged forward Milan Lucic.

Lucic, 24, has one-year remaining on his contract that pays him $4.25 million, though his cap hit is $ 4.083 million.

It has been widely reported that Lucic could be dealt, as the Bruins look to add a top-line scorer, however the source indicated that the Vancouver native was not on the market.

Bruins center David Krejci has also seen his name in various trade rumors lately, and while the team source did not reject the notion of a possible trade, such a move appears to be unlikely.

In 81 games with the B's this past season, Lucic registered 26 goals and 35 assists for 61 points, while Krejci picked up 23 goals and 39 assists for 62 points in 79 games.
