Rask inks 1-year contract

The Boston Bruins have agreed to terms with goaltender Tuukka Rask to a one-year, $3.5 million contract.

Rask, 25, was scheduled to become a restricted free agent July 1.

In 23 games with the Bruins last season, Rask posted a 11-8-3 record with a 2.05 goals-against-average, a .929 save percentage and three shutouts.

Rask was originally drafted 21st overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
