According to TSN Insider Pierre LeBrun, the Boston Bruins' search for all-round depth continues with only a few hours left before the trade deadline.
Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli would ideally prefer to add both a forward and a defenseman and might have interest in a trio of Colorado Avalanche forward that include T.J. Galiardi, Daniel Winnik and David Jones, who are all on the trade block.
Winnik and Jones are set to become unrestricted free agents this summer, while Galiardi is slated for restricted free agency on July 1.
Chiarelli could look to deal for one of them as the absence of forwards Rich Peverley and Nathan Horton due to injuries have left a hole up front.
The Bruins have $2.7 million in available cap space and could make a last-minute move to acquire some depth to ensure another run at the Stanley Cup.
