Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli continues to scour the league for possible additions as the trade deadline inches closer, the Boston Herald reports.
The paper suggests the Bruins would prefer to make a deal sooner than later, as the Olympic break will also affect teams from making trades.
"To do a deal before the break would be good, because it would allow a guy to get moved in and get acclimated," Chiarelli told the Herald. "I just don't know if you can do it before the break. As a GM, you're looking for the best deal possible and there may be better deals available as we get closer to the deadline."
The Bruins are believed to be looking for an upgrade on the blueline and a top-six forward.
