Contract talks between the Bruins and restricted free agent Phil Kessel remain unproductive, and teams are calling about his availability, reports the Boston Globe.
Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli told the paper at least three other teams have contacted him recently about Kessel's trade value.
"Nothing has really changed," he said. "I'd like to have him in the mix, but obviously he's not . . . and obviously teams are interested."
The Bruins would like to re-sign Kessel, but he seems to be asking for more than the team has in available cap space.
The New York Rangers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Nashville Predators and San Jose Sharks are among the teams believed to be interested in Kessel.
Chiarelli has roughly $1.6 million in cap space to play with and would have to trade another player to fit Kessel.
