The Boston Bruins have signed head coach Claude Julien to a multi-year contract extension.

Julien, who has also coached the Montreal Canadiens and New Jersey Devils, was named the 28th head coach in club history on June 21, 2007.

In 402 career regular-season games behind the bench, Julien has posted a 213-134-10-45 career record.
