Coyotes acquire Pulkkinen from Wild

The Arizona Coyotes have acquired forward Teemu Pulkkinen from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for future considerations.

Pulkkinen, 25, has registered one goal and two penalty minutes in nine games with the Wild this season. He has also collected 18 goals and 18 assists for 36 points and 36 PIM in 47 games with the Iowa Wild (AHL) this season.

The native of Vantaa, Finland has totaled 12 goals and nine assists for 21 points, a plus-six rating and 28 PIM in 79 career NHL games with the Wild and Detroit Red Wings.

Pulkkinen was originally drafted by the Red Wings in the fourth round (111th overall) in the 2010 Entry Draft.
