Thrashers have more decisions to make
TheFourthPeriod.com

Having already dealt Ilya Kovalchuk, the Atlanta Thrashers need to decide whether or not they plan on moving any of their other impending free agents.

Forwards Slava Kozlov, Colby Armstrong, Jim Slater, Maxim Afinogenov and Eric Boulton, defensemen Pavel Kubina, Christoph Schubert and Mark Popovic, and goalie Johan Hedberg are all in the final year of their respective contracts and can become unrestricted free agents July 1.

Kozlov, Armstrong and Kubina have attracted the most attention, though Afinogenov and Boulton are also on the radar of a number of clubs.

Kozlov and Kubina, however, each have a no-trade clause and will have to approve any deal the Thrashers try to make.

The Los Angeles Kings, Boston Bruins and Detroit Red Wings are among the teams rumored to be interested in Kozlov.
