The Atlanta Thrashers have signed forward Rich Peverley to a two-year contract extension worth $2.6 million.
Peverley, 27, has tallied four goals and three assists in five games with the Thrashers this season.
In 117 career NHL games with the Nashville Predators and Thrashers, Peverley has accumulated 24 goals and 38 assists for 62 points.
Peverley was claimed off waivers by Atlanta on Jan. 10, 2009.
