The Anaheim Ducks have acquired goaltender Jhonas Enroth from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for a 2018 seventh-round draft pick.

Enroth, 28, has been assigned to the Ducks' AHL affiliate, the San Diego Gulls.

Enroth has split his season between the Leafs and Toronto's AHL affiliate, the Marlies. In six games with the Maple Leafs, Enroth was 0-3-1 with a 3.94 goals-against-average (GAA). In three games with the Marlies, he posted a 2-1-0 record and 3.03 GAA.

The native of Stockholm, Sweden, is in the final year of his contract that pays $750,000.

In 153 career NHL regular-season games with the Buffalo Sabres, Dallas Stars, Los Angeles Kings and Maple Leafs, Enroth has posted a 50-69-16 record with a 2.84 GAA, a .909 save percentage and seven shutouts.

He was originally drafted by the Sabres in the second-round, 46th overall, of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
