Selanne decision imminent
TheFourthPeriod.com

The Anaheim Ducks and veteran star Teemu Selanne are meeting this weekend to determined whether or not the Finnish Flash will officially return for the 2012-13 season, the Orange County Register reports.

Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau confirmed that Ducks GM Bob Murray spoke with Selanne on Monday.

"Indications are that I think he wants to come back, although I'm not 100 percent sure," Boudreau told the Register. "I'm still counting on him to hopefully be back.

"I can't put thoughts into his head, but, if I was deciding not to come back, I wouldn't be having a lot of conversations with my team and texting them good thoughts and 'how you doing?' -- that sort of stuff. I seem to be getting good vibes."

A source close to the situation told TFP that a decision could come as early as today.

Selanne, who turns 42 on Tuesday, led the Ducks in scoring last season with 66 points.
