The Anaheim Ducks have signed unrestricted free agent center Brendan Morrison to a one-year, $2.75 million contract.
Morrison, 32, registered nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points in 39 games with the Vancouver Canucks last season.
In 674 career NHL games with the New Jersey Devils and Canucks, Morrison has accumulated 159 goals and 315 assists for 474 points.
He was originally drafted by the Devils in the second-round, 39th overall, in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft.
