Team Correspondent - TFP MAGAZINE

The Fourth Period Magazine is seeking professional individuals who will be responsible for covering and reporting on a specific hockey team throughout the hockey season, as well as writing articles/columns on the specified team for our monthly publication. Each Team Correspondent must reside in the city of which he/she covers. The ideal candidate(s) must be a motivated team player, have a strong passion for the sport of hockey and solid understanding of the sport and the National Hockey League.
Responsibilities
• Create monthly written material pertaining to the team assigned and covered for The Fourth Period Magazine. 
• Reports to the Editor-in-Chief.
Qualifications:
• Past or current sports journalism experience a necessity. 
• University Degree and/or College Diploma in the field of journalism/media a plus. 
Requirements:
• Excellent sports and hockey knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills.
Seeking in following markets: Atlanta, Calgary, Carolina, Columbus, Dallas, Florida, St. Louis and Vancouver.

Web Editor - TFP.com

The Fourth Period is looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Web Editor. This is a full-time position, effective at the start of the upcoming hockey season, will revolve around editing material for the website, as well as updating online material. The ideal candidate must have excellent proofreading skills, strong journalistic writing skills, excellent computer skills, strong knowledge of HTML editing software and possess a passion for hockey, and must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Edit submitted material for both the website and publication.
• Updating website on frequent basis.
• Write articles pertaining to key events surrounding the hockey world.
• Reports to Editor-in-Chief.
Qualifications:
• Post-secondary education in Journalism or a related field.
• Past sports journalism/editing experience.
Requirements:

• Excellent sports and hockey knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills.
• Strong writing, editing, copy editing skills.
• Computer skills include all Microsoft Office applications, HTML editing software and Photoshop.
• Must reside within the Greater Toronto Area.

Photographer - TFP MAGAZINE

The Fourth Period Magazine is seeking individuals in professional hockey markets with a strong background in photography to provide in-game action shots at NHL games. This contract driven position is available in all NHL markets. Responsibilities include attending and working at hockey games/events, providing material to our editors and photographing players.

TheFourthPeriod.com is seeking enthusiastic individuals with a strong passion for professional hockey to report on specifically assigned hockey teams. This volunteer position is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking experience in the sports media field.
Responsibilities
• Provide a minimum of one (1) update and report/article on assigned team per week for TheFourthPeriod.com.
• Reports to the website's editor.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience a plus, but not mandatory. 
• Completed/working on University Degree and/or College Diploma in the field of journalism/media.
Requirements:
• Excellent sports and hockey knowledge.
• Excellent verbal communication and written skills.
