Meet Jake
Gardiner, Anaheim's 2008 first-round selection.
Ranked 31st heading into the draft by ISS, Gardiner has
good size with tremendous foot speed and acceleration.
He is smart with the puck and has an accurate point
shot. Jake utilizes his size well, showing a willingness
to play physical and finish checks. He is scheduled to
attend the University of Wisconsin in 2008-09.
