Win a chance to train with
hockey stars

[TORONTO, ON] -- When you were a young
hockey fan, you dreamt of playing on the same team as some of the
sport's biggest names.
Growing up in Montreal, I'd always
fanaticize about skating through past blueline, taking a pass from Guy
Lafleur and roofing the game-winning goal in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup
Final (forget about Game 7, my team would win four-straight!).
Everybody does it, regardless of what
sport you grew up playing or watching. I played soccer and baseball
well before I threw on a pair of skates, so I'd also dream about
winning the World Cup or making that diving catch in the outfield of
win the World Series.
For one hockey fan, there's a new
contest (that I can proudly say TFP is a part of) out there that gives
you the chance to train alongside some of hockey's top stars.
We've teamed up with BioSteel Sports to
give one lucky winner (age 7-65) from across Canada the opportunity to
participate in a one-day training session with Montreal Canadiens
sniper Michael Cammalleri and Team BioSteel.
The BioSteel Pro Hockey Week takes place in Toronto from Aug. 16-20,
with the one hockey player, accompanied by one parent (if under the
age of 18) or guest, set to train with the likes of Cammalleri,
Jason Spezza and Wojtek Wolski.
The winner will receive an expense-paid
trip to Toronto to Learn, Skate and Play with Cammalleri, famous
sports trainer Matt Nichol and Team BioSteel.
"BioSteel Sports is excited to offer this amazing opportunity to one
lucky hockey fan," said John Celenza, President and C.E.O., BioSteel
Sports. "To Learn, Skate and Play with Team BioSteel Sports and
Michael Cammalleri is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Our
commitment to sports lies in creating the best and safest product for
our athletes to maximize their potential on and off the ice."
Entering the contest is simple. In 350 words or less, explain why they
deserve the chance to become a honorary member of Team BioSteel.
Parents of those under 18 are able to apply on behalf of their
children and this exclusive contest is provided solely by The Fourth
Period.
"I'm thrilled to be teaming up with BioSteel Sports to 'Learn.
Skate. Play.' with Team BioSteel," Cammalleri said. "From a very
young age I believed that off-season training has made me a better
hockey player. I'm excited to share my routine on and off the ice with
one lucky hockey fan."
The BioSteel Pro Hockey Week contest website is currently accepting
entries. The contest closes August 7, 2010 at 11:59pm ET.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity
that I wish I had growing up.

luck!
